We’re happy to announce, Winter in Queenstown is ON at Cranbury Court Apartments. We’re over the moon to welcome our domestic guests this Winter season, and we appreciate the ongoing support shown these past couple of months. Our number one priority has always been your comfort and safety in our Queenstown self-contained apartments. In these uncertain times, our guests can be rest assured we are practising the Ministry of Health & Safety guidelines for protection against COVID_19, and can ensure a safe stay.

Queenstown is an activity hub during Winter, with slopes for the adventure-goers, and beautiful town to explore if sight-seeing is more your thing. Cranbury Court is here to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. Our team is passionate about where we call home and have a list of top spots to ski/snowboard and explore this season.

Our apartments accommodations come fully equipped with all the at-home amenities you’ll require for a comfortable and relaxing stay at Cranbury Court. Our self-contained one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom apartments have underfloor heating, heaters and electric blankets to ensure a cozy and warm environment after a long day on the slopes.

Ski Equipment and Snowboard Hire

Looking to rent ski and snowboard equipment this season? We always recommend Outside Sports to our guests; a local business with great reviews on their equipment and friendly team. Outside Sports is only a short walk away from Cranbury Court, and best of all? You can receive 10% off your hire as a guest at Cranbury Court. We highly recommend Outside Sports for their great quality gear and wonderful staff who will go above and beyond to ensure you have a safe and fun day on the slopes.

The Mountains

Cardrona

Cardrona is open 7 days a week until the 18th of October for all day fun on the slopes! Cranbury Court can issue your Cardrona and Treble Cone lift, lesson or transport passes right here at Reception - so there’s no queuing at Guest Services! With wide runs, experienced instructors and a Chondola to help with those first-time (or first time in a long time) jitters, Cardrona is a great ski-field to learn the basics and improve your skills and technique. The extensive terrain offers lots of opportunity for beginners to advanced ski/snowboarders to explore and practice their skills.
Not looking for an adrenaline rush? No worries! Jump on the Chondola for a sightseeing tour, enjoy a hot chocolate or a glass of champagne at the top of McDougalls, and don’t forget your camera to capture those stunning views - all the way to Lake Wakatipu!

Coronet Peak - Night ski

Coronet Peak is home of the night skiing and definitely one to check off your bucket list! The night ski kicks off from the 1st of July and carries on every Wednesday and Friday. Enjoy the night ski experience - just a 20-minute drive from our self-contained apartment accommodation. Food, drinks and music will be flowing every week, making for a memorable Winter experience you won’t want to miss! Coronet Peak is open 7-days a week throughout the Winter season and has excellent terrain for intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders. There’s also a snow-play area to keep those little ones entertained.

Remarkables

Remarkables Ski Field is open through the school holidays and every weekend for the rest of the Winter season, unless announced otherwise. Remarkables Ski Field is definitely worth the drive up! The views are breathtaking - so don’t forget your camera! Remarkables offers terrain for all abilities, making it a great destination for a family day in the snow. Skippers Canyon Jet

Take a break from the mountains and head into the canyon! Skippers Canyon Jet pick-up from Cranbury Court, and transport you down one of the world’s most dangerous roads to historic locations in Queenstown.
Visit locations from the New Zealand Gold Rush, and speed down to the narrowest canyons on the Shotover river on the best jetboat ride in Queenstown! Be sure to book at reception! Guests staying at Cranbury Court get an exclusive 10% off discount on all Skippers’ Canyon Jet products!
